The Sudbury Chamber of Commerce has become actively involved
in management growth issues, commercial growth, legislative
issues, community pride, business taxation and many spirited
civic contributions. We conduct annual awards honoring the
Town of Sudbury Employee, Teacher, Business, Businessperson
and Citizen of the Year, which recognizes some well deserving
citizens of our town. Our annual sponsorship of the Fourth of
July Parade has saved the town well over $120,000 over the
past 10 years but more importantly we have kept the annual
tradition alive.
Our yearly Firecracker Ball, dinner dance,
funds the parade. In that same time span, we have collected
over 40,000 coats and warm clothing for the less fortunate,
homeless and/or abused shelters of Boston, Worcester &
Framingham. The Sudbury Pride program has decorated Boston
Post Road with banners and flags welcoming the new Mill
Village re-opening. In conjunction with the Thursday Garden
Club we support the Business Beautification project as well as
the traffic island flower buckets.
In all of our continuing
programs and contributions to the town and its residents, we
stress local involvement - its local business people working
together with town residents and government to make Sudbury a
better place to live, work and play. We also recognize that
business people and residents have a constant need for
professional and retail services and we are committed to
providing a comprehensive resource for information about
services available in the Sudbury area.
This website has been
prepared and published as a service to business, residents and
newcomers as well as the many others that call and write to
inquire about our 360-year-old town. As an additional service
to you we have compiled historical information, school and
town data, useful statistics and important phone numbers.
Membership in the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is a sign of
good business.
A well-financed, strongly supported Chamber of
Commerce can be an effective tool for the business community
as well as the citizenry in that community. Participation in
the Chamber serves to fulfill civic responsibility and
community relations through involvement. We welcome any
suggestions or questions you might have for our Chamber. You
may write us at the above address or call us at (978)

Sincerely,
Louis B. Stephan
