March 2024 Member Meeting - Sudbury Economic Development

The Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is hosting an IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY FOR SUDBURY BUSINESS VOICES TO BE HEARD ON SUDBURY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PLANNING- MARK YOUR CALENDARS NOW AND PLAN TO ATTEND.

Wednesday, March 20, meeting 11:30 – 1:00 pm at the Sudbury Point Grill, 120 Boston Post Rd. Sudbury.

The Sudbury Chamber of Commerce is underwriting this meeting because we believe it sets the stage for our community – and our businesses – into the future.

A new Economic Development Plan for Sudbury is on the horizon. Guest speakers will be Adam Burney, newly appointed Director of Planning and Development, Town Manager Andy Sheehan, and Select Board Member Jennifer Roberts.  The Sudbury Select Board established Economic Development as a goal for 2024. To aid in this effort, the Board committed $35,000 of ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds to hire an economic development consultant. Before engaging a consultant, officials want to better understand the challenges facing the business community and how the Town may partner with the business community.

This is our opportunity to have a concrete impact on the future of our business community.

With the importance of this meeting, non-members may join this meeting at NO CHARGE. Registration is required. Sign up to follow.

It is critical that we show up.

Thank you,

Martha Bernard Welsh

President, Sudbury Chamber of Commerce
