Leadership MetroWest Small Business Scholarship - Main Street Bank
A Life-Changing Opportunity for One of Our Own
As your Chamber, part of our mission is making sure Sudbury area businesses have access to every resource available to help them grow.
Leadership MetroWest is a regional nonprofit that has spent 40 years doing something quietly powerful: developing community leaders across MetroWest through immersive, relationship-driven programming. You may have crossed paths with their alumni without even knowing it — they're the business owners, nonprofit leaders, and civic voices who show up consistently and know how to get things done in this region.
Even two of our own board members, Martha Bernard Welsh (Class of 2024) and Jamie Chapman (Class of 2022).
Their flagship program, the Leadership Academy, is a year-long experience that combines monthly public discussions, behind-the-scenes site visits to local organizations, and hands-on community service — all designed to deepen your understanding of the MetroWest community and expand the network of people you can call on. Graduates leave with more than knowledge; they leave with relationships that last and a clear sense of how to scale their impact alongside more than 1,000 fellow alumni.
This year, there's an opportunity designed specifically for someone like you.
Leadership MetroWest's new Small Business & Entrepreneur Scholarship, funded by Main Street Bank through the Main Street Group Foundation, offers a life-changing opportunity for a MetroWest small-business owner, entrepreneur, or solopreneur by covering full tuition costs to the Leadership Academy. Small business leaders bring essential perspectives to conversations about the MetroWest community's future — and this scholarship is Leadership MetroWest's commitment to making sure those voices are in the room.
Both the Leadership Academy Application and the Scholarship Application must be submitted prior to June 15, 2026 for consideration. Don't let this deadline pass you by.
